THE RESCUE have their album 'Forever Young' on no less than 400 sites across the USA and Canada including iTunes. The album itself has been pre-issued to radio with a retail release across the USA and Canada scheduled for January 2008. The second single from it, 'Blue Eyed Baby', has been a top 30 success in the Hotdisc chart
'Straight 8 Fireball' - Good original material, presented with fine harmonies from the band. Taking me back to the Southern Rock days of the 60's/70's, this is as good as anything from across the pond. I hope to hear a lot more from this band in the future. Excellent !!
British band, The Rescue, have released their long-awaited album
"Forever Young". The 13-tracker contains all original songs from the pen
of Bernie Townsend, with some tracks co-written with band members
Richard Fry and Paul Henry. It was all done as a labour of love at
Gravel Road Studios in the UK but mastered in Nashville. The first
single, "Straight 8 Fireball" is a strong, powerful tune which should
make more than a few people in the industry sit up and take notice
You should be
congratulated for taking the unorthodox route - like Paul Kennerley did
with "White Mansions" many years ago. That was ground breaking and this
project is as close as anyone has got to that since
BRITISH BAND CLINCH RECORD DEAL – The Rescue have landed themselves an
inking on the Aspirion label in the States for their new album ‘Forever
Young’. They are now label-mates with Collin Raye and T Graham Brown
among others, which is an exceptional achievement
